How can you help…….VOLUNTEER!
Volunteers are needed in many areas. Coaches, Coach Assistants, team managers, event volunteers, management team members (public relations fund raising, volunteer recruitment, etc). Without volunteers, there is no athlete training nor competitions.
To get started as a Delaware County volunteer, click HERE to see all the steps involved.
Protective Behavior Training Is Required
All volunteers are asked to log on to the VSYS volunteer site and complete the on-line training. For the protection of our athletes, this should be the first training each volunteer take.
Athletes can access application forms and completion instructions on this site.
Please remember to mail the original to the program address, and your head coach should only receive a copy in order to participate.
Applications that are not on file at the Special Olympics Office will disqualify the athlete for both the training and this years events. If you have questions, view the medical instruction page or email us. Enrollment Package
